How do I apply for a place at Sandown Primary School?
Admissions to Sandown Primary School are arranged through the Local Authority. Please contact the school in the first instance and we will be happy to help you with the process. Information can also be found in the fortnightly newsletters etc.

Please ring the School Office (01304 374951) for up-to-date information on the Admission procedure. This alters during the year for in-year transfers, and for the September Reception in-take, again depending on where we are in the year, and at what point of the process we are.

If your child is due to start school in September 2023 visit our Reception 2023 page. This was created to try and give this year's children an idea of what Sandown is and who we are as they were unable to come into school over the recent pandemic.
If your child is due to start primary school in September 2023, you will need to apply for a place online. Go to: www.kent.gov.uk/primaryadmissions to register and then apply. Applications are open from Friday, 4th November until Monday, 16th January (by midnight).
